Can't find View Project Browser
« on: April 24, 2010, 03:17:18 am »
1. I'm runing EA 6.1.
2.  At work I was running EA in a xp virtual box guest, in a dual monitor setup. I actually undocked the
Project browser and put it in my second screen.

However, when I am at home with only my laptop (without the dual screen), I can't see my project browser anymore.
I suspect that EA is trying to remember where it was last, and is putting it on the second screen which isn[t there anymore.

I've tried looking at all the windows controls, but I can't seem to get
the project browser window to display for me.

My fear is I have to go back to work, in the dual screen setup for me to see it again, then redock the window for me to see it in a single monitor setup.

I'm hoping there is a registry setting someone can suggest to automatically redock the project browser window to save me the hassle.

Maybe View...Workspace Layouts... (pick one) will get you back to a good starting point?  (I haven't tried your situation--I'm just thinking this might work.)

Thanks.  I think I tried a different layout, but it didn't work.
I ended up uninstalling EA, with regedit by delting the sparx reference
and then reinstalling.

That worked.
