error message in html report generation

Error message=Error writing file or directory. Generation did not complete successfully.

What should I do to fix this problem?

Ensure that the destination directory exists and is writable

Thank You for your answer. I made full cheking. Directory exists and writable. On top of all, if I start generation in rtf form to the same destination directory, the generation is successfully. The mentioned error message appears only in html case.

Sometimes this seems to happen when you generate an html report the second time with the same target directory. I could work around it by deleting the old report first.
