What repository type are you saving to there? If you're saving to EAP file, make sure you are using a Jet4 repository and driver, the Jet 3 driver (and the corresponding Jet 3 EABase.eap) do not support Unicode, which means that characters outside of the ANSI range will be lost/converted.

If you are using the default EA setup (Jet3 driver and Jet3 EABase.eap) then:
1. Configure EA to use the Jet 4 driver (Tools | Options)
2. Download the Jet 4 EABase.eap from the Resources section of the website

If you are using a DBMS repository, then ensure the Collation settings are configured for your locale. If everything is configured fine and still causing errors, then please pursue us through the support channels.
Best Regards,

Michael
