Requirement Properties inconsistent
« on: June 10, 2010, 07:47:31 pm »
Hi All
On the properties dialog for a requirement there is a drop down for 'Difficulty' with possible values of Low,Medium and hard.
Yet on the properties dockable window there is no 'Difficulty' setting but a 'Complexity' setting with possible values of Easy, medium and Hard.
Setting one does not effect the other.
I have reported this a bug.

Well, Graham, the reason one doesn't affect the other is that they are separate, and only vicariously related, concepts.   ;)

Just because something is complex doesn't make it intrinsically difficult.  :-?

FWIW, Complexity is held in the Complexity column of t_object, while Difficulty is held in PDATA3.  (Priority is held in PDATA2)

HTH,
Paolo

Instead of having these two inconsistent differently Property windows it would be much more useful to have a single configurable one. But honestly I gave up on hoping for real improvements in that area. Maybe wood working would also be an alternative for me...
