Link to element feature and use cases
« on: June 23, 2010, 07:20:51 pm »
Hi
I have been exploring the creation of notes linked to element features of use cases.
If I link to 'Simple Scenarios' I get something like I want, however, the ordering in the note gives the exception paths followed by the basic path and then the alternate paths. I would have thought it would make more sense to list the basic path first followd by the alternate and exception paths.
If I link to 'Structured Scenarios', again, I get a note that is nearly what I need. Here the order of the scenarios is correct but there are no line breaks between the scenario steps which makes it hard to to read.
Can anything be done about this?
How easy would it be to create an addin that did this correctly and automatically updated when the scenario was updated.

Sounds like Sparx should fix it - have you raised a bug report ?

Yes!
Comparing this to V7 -
in V7 there were no exception scenarios, seems they have just added them at the top of the objectscenarios table instead of the end.
I am just going to use alternate scenarios then I get what I need

Seems pretty straightforward, I guess something like that should take no more then one day, two tops.
