861 hangs on startup

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

EA is started from a desktop shortcut which includes link directly to model. This has been working well for several versions.

This appears to happen only after machine has been started.

EA prompts for DB password, then hangs running one core at 100% (tried waiting for 2 hours once and still hanging)
When killed and the procedure is repeated it starts fine

Environment WXPSP3 client. S2003 back end with SLQ Server 2005.

Still happening on 862, intermittently.
Reported as a bug for 861, but no response.

Have you tried changing the db driver?
It looks like there is an issue with the order things like drivers and stuff are loaded into memory and ready to use.
Changing the db driver might just do the trick.
