Buffer overrun detected!

I am trying to debug .NET exe in EA and I get the following error:

"Microsoft C++ Runtime library"
Buffer overrun detected!
C:\Program Files\Sparx Systems\EA\SSProfiler.exe

EA Version installed:
Program Version: 6.1.788 (Build - 788)- Unicode

I have emailed the issue at '[email protected]' at least 5 times but did not receive any response yet!

any help will be appreciated!

I can't find any record of your email, but I can find record of a buffer overrun in SSProfiler being fixed in build 825.

I don't think 825 is specifically available.  (It was a beta build by the look of it, and also over 2 years old)

But all versions of EA are accessible from the registered users section of this site.  See http://www.sparxsystems.com/registered/reg_ea_down.html

If you don't have a current registration then I suggest you contact our sales department at [email protected].

I have emailed all the information to [email protected] they need to create the registered user. I just emailed you "Buffer Overrun" error to , did you get my email? I think you guys are not getting my emails.

Hi Simon,

I downloaded the trail version, still have issues with debugging. If I load .Net solution with has multiple projects and try to debug (press “play” button after setting up debugger) nothing happens.
If I create one single test project (like a console application with multiple Console.write(“”))  and debug it , it works fine (I mean I able to debug the project).
Can you tell what could be wrong?

I'm afraid you are beyond my knowledge of the debugging tools for EA.  You'll need to ask Sparx Systems support directly.
