BPMN Shapescript takes over
« on: November 06, 2010, 02:49:33 pm »
In: Mechanism for attaching BPMN objects to Flows I note that setting the stereotype for a Note or Constraint vertex to "DataObject" or "TextAnnotation" will cause the Shapescript to be invoked.

Now since BPMN defines a Data Object as an Artifact and EA implements it as such, this is anomalous.

BPMN is silent (as far as I can tell) on the UML type of the Text Annotation but EA has also implemented these as Artifacts  and so this behaviour also appears anomalous.

Is it a bug or not?  (That the BPMN stereotypes take over non-applicable vertex types)

Thoughts?
