Deleting Stereotype
« on: November 30, 2010, 02:30:40 am »
I have added a UML attribute stereotype in error and cannot delete it from the UML types. I have the required authorization and no classes have an attribute with this stereotype. When I go to the UML Types screen and select the stereotype to delete, it looks as if it does the requested action but when I scroll through the list it is always still there.

Is there an explanation or solution to this problem?

Bob,

Could it be that this stereotype already existed because of some MDG?

MDG Stereotypes do not appear in that list. You should query the according t_stereotypes table to see what's going on.

Thanks for your help.

It is very doubtful if the stereotype will exist - it is "managed mandates".  I have also tried to simply capitalize the stereotype - i.e. change it to Managed Mandates. It does add this stereotype but the lowercase version always is selected and is displayed. As well it just doesn't seem to want to go away.

If all else fails, delete it from t_stereotypes
