Sequence Diag.: open Message Properties Dialogue

Aloha!

I remember that ages ago (perhaps EA 7.0 or .5), the Message Properties Dialogue opened up automatically when drawing a message within a Sequence Diagram. This behaviour obviously changed. Or do I miss the option to change the behaviour?

The manual says:

[...] click on the Message icon, click on the source object and drag the cursor to the destination (target) object. The Message Properties dialog displays (if not, right-click on the Message [...]

Would have been great if the help page would have mentioned how to change that behaviour, if possible at all. It was very handy.

Here it works as expected (using 8.0 862). Maybe you changed something?

[edit:] Tools/Options/Objects/Links/Edit Connector On New might be the one
