EA and Integration into VS 2008 Team Suite
« on: April 12, 2011, 02:27:37 am »
I have a larger VS Solution with about 10 Projects VB and C#. I have installed on my Vista SP2, EA 8.0.864 and lates MDG, both as trial versions, to evaluate how well reverse engineering to sequence diagrams work. I managed to add-in the VS Add in into EA. I have VS 2008 TS running; and my project solution is wide open, and a rebuild toke just place error free. In EA I have created a Model and a Class Package under the model shown in Project explorer.

I use do RMB dow on the ClassPackages in project explorer then / Add-In / Connect External Project / Visual Studio and the Visual Studio Connection Windows opens.

The problem is that Nothing at all is shown in this Window;

No Enterprise Architect Packages and No Active Visual Studio Projects.

What is wrong?

Would a re-installation of EA and MDG help?

Josef :(

Forgot to say that I can browse to my VS Solution File but when I click OK an error message popes up.

There was a problem loading solution:
E:\Users\C770817\SW-PROJEKTE\Spezpla\Spezpla.sln

If this solution has beenm moved, please load it using Visual Studio and retry the operation.

I did this nseveral times but no luck. And ofcourse the VS shows my solution and all there is working fine.
