Effect is a Behavior issue
« on: May 06, 2011, 05:20:16 pm »
I've a problem regarding the "Effect is a Behavior" option on state transitions.
If the checkbox is active, I can select an operation as behavior, but it's not possible to set the parameter of the operation (only the type is displayed), without unchecking the "Effect is a Behavior" checkbox and adding it manually, but then the reference is lost.
Is there something I'm missing ?

Thanks and best regards

Kind regards

They're going for the prize of which bug hasn't been fixed for the longest time.

At least they searched the forum...

That means it is a bug and I can't use/apply it in any way, right? I'm using EA version 13.X

I noticed that, if I want to change the values of the operations in the State-machine, by an entry, do or exit order, then I have to do it with the initial code. It doesn't work with the behavior box in the operation properties of the state... it is correct? What is the behavior Box for?

Please no irony or sarcasm, I would like to get better with EA.

Thank you very much and kind regards.

Well, mine WAS a friendly dig...  But NOT AT you, but THROUGH you to our friendly Sparxians.

I apologise if you thought it was meant for you.  That was NOT the intent.  After you've been here a while, you'll get our humour.

Keep asking questions, we are a pretty helpful bunch, most of the time.  We also need our curmudgeons, like qwerty.

Finally, please submit a formal bug report using one of the links below.  No report, NO fix!  Maybe that's what the OP didn't do.

[PS: I've had much older bugs, than that, also left by the wayside.]
