also the Win7 installation seems to work now...

Maybe the license server... i have no idea....

However: IT WORKS

For anyone still encountering crash issues on startup with EA 9 - download and install the latest build of Enterprise Architect (build 906).  For more information, see:

Build 906 fixed all my issues.
