Memory leakage in 906?
« on: May 27, 2011, 04:51:24 pm »
Hi,

When I start build 906 (not even loading a project) the task mgr reveals that memory usage is increasing over time (each fifth second 4k is taken!). Look att column "Mem usage" and "VM size".

Using XP and a license file on a file server.

Someone else seeing this?

Regards,
Magnus

Nope,

Memory usage seems stable around 320.000 K on my machine (also WinXP, but with a local license)
It increases if I open more diagrams, but it decreases when closing diagrams.
I've had EA open the whole night, so if it would be leaking memory it should have become a problem by now.

I've processed over 6000 diagrams (admittedly closing each one after processing) overnight (about 14 hours) without issue...

So you'd expect if there was a (generic) memory leak it would show up there.

Next time I do it, I'll check the memory values.

Hi

I noticed that when I'm connected at the corporate network directly I have no problem at all. This morning I worked at home with a VPN connection and then I had the problem...
