Table of Content Navigation

I am attempting to navigate through the table of contents in a document generated through an EA template that I have created. EA Table of Content Help menu shows how this is done in the document.

However, I need the TOC navigation to be functional when I click on the View option in the Generate RTF document window, and not on explicily opening the document itself.

Is there any way to link the TOC to the descriptions during the Template creation itself? I am using EA V8.0.
