Cannot import Tables from Oracle ODBC Datasource

The URL you show me points to the ODBC driver not the Oracle Database Client.
At first I had installed just the ODBC driver and it didn't work for me either so I had to remove it and install the Oracle Database Client instead (Make sure you check "Install ODBC Driver")

ODAC1110720 works for me on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine, importing from Oracle 11.2 on a 32-bit Vista machine.

And if you're on a 64-bit machine, use the 32-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator...

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

The one in Control panel is the 64-bit version.

Thank you for answer. My problem is, that I have to use older Oracle client software (ODBC requires Oracle NET, which is component of client). With this client is supported only mentioned version of ODBC driver. So, for EA I will install later version of ODBC and required Oracle Net into new Oracle Home in parallel. I select this one, which is working for you. I guess, EA doesnot support version od ODBC driver, which I am using now.

Now I can't, it says 'Retriving objects....' and... nothing.
It hangs and I have to reboot my PC for EA be able to connect again to server and open my project.

Same PC, same Windows, same Oracle database, same drives, diferent EA version (now build 909).

What can be wrong?

Update.

It works, I just wasn't waiting 30 minutes to retrieve the object list and 20 more to import 15 tables  

Good improvement since last version. In many aspects the new versions of EA are far worse than the previous ones.

It's starting to evolve from a few functionalities working very well to lots of functionalities not working so well or not working at all.
