Finding Class Operations In Diagrams
« on: September 17, 2011, 06:57:36 am »
Hitting ctrl-u (find in all diagrams) with a class operation selected brings up a SQL error dialogue box (cos we are saving our model to a SQL file).

'datatypes ntext and nvarchar are incompatible'

It then displays an empty element usage box (as expected from the error).

The same functionality works fine for class attributes and class states. 8-)

Which database are you using?
We are using SQL server 2008 and it works fine here.
If you have this model for a long time it might be worthwhile to run an update patch to update the database structure.
There have been small changes to database structure. You can find the update patches on the registered user download section.

Les, could you send in a bug report please, stating which database you are using as a repository. It sounds like a variation in SQL syntax that we will have to work around...
