Alphabetical sorting of features  enabled
« on: January 12, 2012, 10:09:22 pm »
I have now two times encountered that alphabetical sorting of features is activated hereby causing tremendous havoc in the subsequent MDA transformations and code generation.

Has anyone experienced the same thing and is there a way to avoid this?

I think it must be possible to somehow prevent this option to be turned on.
I think it is a default "on" option, so upgraded and re-installs can also turn it on.

I believe this is one of those options that is stored in the local registry, so if you write some kind of program that at EA startup check the setting and if necessarily changes it in the registry you could already avoid EA starting up with this "wrong" setting.

Then to avoid people changing it when EA is running, maybe this is something you can set in the security? Otherwise training will have to do :-/
