Overly constraining object rendering

This is really a cross-post of another topic - but since that one is titled: BPMN objects on Non-BPMN diagrams, it's probably not getting the reach (I think) it deserves.

Although the problem is most apparent in BPMN objects (to date), it's really a generic problem.

Please have a look (at: BPMN objects on Non-BPMN diagrams) and provide your comments.
