My agency uses a variant of DoDAF 2 which incorporates elements of the NAF and MODAF as well (especially the Human Views). I have largely worked through the creation of my own package instead. Send you email details if you want to exchange more information.

Hi,

The HTML report generation is a feature which I use heavily to post the core of the Enterprise Architecture to my larger user community. However due to the way that the pages are generated as images, displaying large diagrams on a user desktop becomes difficult. The user is faced with a confusing environment where they need to move two vertical scroll bars in order to find the horizontal scroll bar. I think the HTMl generator needs some tweaking to make the product more user friendly.

Further to this problem, Build 844 is fine. It is Build 845 that seems to have issues with HTML report generation.

I agree that a fair bit more could be done to create effective HTML reports. I am hopeful that they will provide this capability in future versions.

In completing the upgrade from 7.1 to 7.5, I have found that the HTML report generator does not appear to work correctly anymore. I have tried running the generator a large number of times with various configurations of the .css files and cannot succesfully get through a generation sequence.   I have rolled back to 7.1 because the html generation is an important part of my communication strategy and everything is peachy again.
