Hello all,
this is my configuration...

Client
Windows XP SP2 - ITA
MySQL ODBC 3.51
EA 6.1.787 Corporate Edition

Server
Windows 2003 Server SP1 - ITA
MySQL 4.1.18

I created a repository and migrated the Example project

Immediatly as I tried to change any object or package I started getting lot of errors like:

Microsoft Cursor Engine [-2147217864]

also while importing ddl from Oracle I have to confirm StoreProcedure by StoreProcedure

while generating rtf documentation I got lot of errors related to "The selection contains protected text"

any idea on how to solve this problems ?

Hello guys,
we are trying to make a workaround for importing DDL schema from Sybase ASE 12.5 with ODBC.

Actually we converted the DB structure with Oracle Micration Workbench.

We have a similar structure (Except for stored procedure) in Oracle with some naming diffrences.

We'll try to import the DB structrue and objects from migrated Oracle.

Then we'll modify the model by hand to comply the Sybase ASE model

I'll keep you informed ... if anyone is interested in this task pls come back to me by email.

Hi,
We have extended the requirement model with different tag values like for example
Requirements::Long Description
Requirement::Date Raised
Requirement::eTom Level 1

from the Basic Template we found that in order to display the tagged values we can use

tagged value >


Tagged Values
[ch159]      {ElementTagVal.Name} = {ElementTagVal.Value}.
{ElementTagVal.Notes}
< tagged value
resource >
 
This will list all the tagged values.
How can I display only one tagged value like as example Requirement::Long Description ?

I experienced problems with Oracle 10g store procedure ... have U tried to import any

When importing >1500 store I had to confirm mouse-clicking one by one ... a nightmare

my EA version is the latest build 787

Hi Bruno and thx,
I downloaded the 250 pages pdf doc about DoDAF on USA Army site .. and also find out something about FEAF on Rational documentation.

I also got the matrix map of Zachman framework.

Starting from this matrix I'm trying to figure out which cells have to been used for the documentation and the organization of my project.

Basically what I was asked to do is introduce UML standard and modelling and rendering methodologies to describe a very complex environment as for enterprise (Business) - System (Logical) and Technology (physical) point of view.

We bought EA and now I'm trying to map the best methodology - framework (Zachman - FEAF - DoDAF) which fit with my needs. At last, but not least, I'm also trying to find out the best approach to start having results (aka documentation) with the less effort
