You can link both by
  • drawing a Realize relation from the UC to Req.
  • doing the same using the Relationship Matrix
Can you tell me why you create Requirements from Use Cases? Is it some kind of re-engineering you're doing?

Thank you for the reply, I don't notice Relationship matrix before :)
I don't create requirenment from Use Case :) But I can do it if I'll use UseCase->Properties->Requirenment->Move External  button.

General Board / Requirement - Use Case association

In EA 5.0 I've found how to produce requirement from Use Case, but I see no way to bind Use Case with Requirement that is already presented in my model. Can I do it in EA?
In fact analitics firs collect requirements and only then form Use cases... as I understand this process.

General Board / Message's ID with alphabet symbols inCollaboration
« on: July 07, 2005, 01:19:48 am »
I can't find in the EA 5.0 the way to enumerate condition branching of message stream on collaboration diagram with alphabet symbols.

like this
1.1A: [x=0]SetValue1()
1.1B: [x!=0]SetValue2()]

Is this limitation of EA 5.0 functionality or I can't read help? :)

General Board / Re: Multiobject on Collaboration(Cooperation) diag

Thank you :)
I haven't found such notation in UML 1.5 specification too, but in Rational Rose I've used it and it is now part of the style of collaboration diagrams in our company. I see no disadvantages in such notaion. It is only very usefull symbol. :) Main idea of visual modeling is to create pictures to visualize modeling enteties. For most usefull stereotypes we create picture as in this case :)

PS: sorry for my English :)

General Board / Multiobject on Collaboration(Cooperation) diagram

Many tools represent set of anonymous objects of the same type (collection) on the collaboration diagram as one rectangle over another (like this: http://www.comptechdoc.org/independent/uml/begin/collaboration.gif). Is there the same feature in the Enterprise Architect 5.0? I couldn't find it there.
