General Board / ActionScript2 Datatypes

We are using EA 4.10 (I'm guessing this is the problem!)
We are using it to model systems created using Flash so the language we want to use is ActionScript2.
We want to add actionscript as a Languages Datatype but critically make that available across projects.
At the moment if we add actionscript our descriptions are only available for the project where they were added not for other ones - is there a solution?
