Suggestions and Requests / Block Port and Internal Blocks Visibility
« on: March 10, 2014, 11:22:53 pm »
Ever since I upgraded to version 10, all of my blocks now display their ports and internal blocks.  This has cluttered up all of my existing diagrams, resizing the majority of my blocks and screwing up the arrangement of my diagrams.  The only way I have found to fix the problem is to uncheck those items on the block's Feature and Component Visibility menu.  I have to do this on each individual diagram.  This is a huge annoyance.  Is there any way to globally disallow those items to be displayed for the entire model?  If not, I highly suggest that it be provided in a future version.

Bugs and Issues / RTF table import bug
« on: June 11, 2010, 09:27:37 pm »
Hello.  I'm having an issue with importing or copying tables in the RTF editor.  Here's the situation: I have a document object in one of my block diagrams.  I also have an RTF template in my resources that automatically generates a custom report.  I want to copy the output of this report to this specific document object so that it will be directly accessible in the model.  The problem is that the table that exists in the auto-generated report doesn't copy over to the document object correctly.  Some of the words have background colors that I cannot get rid of.  I also tried importing from the RTF document but get the same problem.

Does anyone know how this can be fixed?  It would be even better if I could auto-generate the actual document object that's in the project browser using my custom template, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

Bugs and Issues / Omitting blank fields in the RTF report generator
« on: August 14, 2009, 04:23:47 am »
I'd like to know if there is a way to omit blank fields from being included in an RTF report.  For instance, say I have an object that has a name and some notes, but nothing filled in for the alias.  I also have an object that has a name and an alias, but no notes.  Now, I'd like to create an RTF template that will provide me with the information on each object, but leave out the information for the blank fields (the alias for the first object and the notes for the second object in my example).

Currently, the generated reports put in a blank, formatted line where this missing information is.  I'd like to find a way where it does not create this blank line in the first place.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
