General Board / Empty space under image in RTF
« on: July 19, 2011, 11:09:47 pm »
Hello,

I want to structure my generated rtf document like this:
 - overview diagram containing uml elements
    - element in diagram, e.g. use case: heading + text description + image
    - element in diagram, e.g. use case: heading + text description + image
    - ...

This images are in an image format (.png, .jpg, .gif).

I did realize this RTF structure by creating a (interaction overview) diagram under the element which only contains one image.

When I create a RTF-Document the image gets automatically drawn right under the text. Below the image I  configured a caption in the rtf template.

And here my problem:
Sometimes in the generated diagram-image there is a white space (about approximately 2 cm) below the original image contained. It seems to me that if I change any settings of that diagram (Properties-Tab Diagram) then no white space is drawn below the original image - but only until I close the program and restart it. Then its there again though I did Save all. That's really nerving.

Is there anything I might do against it?

General Board / Re: Customizing Diagram.DiagramImg for RTF expossi

Thank you for your helpful answer!

I guess then there is no possibility to keep the border around the diagram but not the name and the type abbreviation?

General Board / Customizing Diagram.DiagramImg for RTF expossible?
« on: July 12, 2011, 02:46:01 am »
Is it possible to customize the look of the element Diagram.DiagramImg in RTF template somehow? My problem is I am writing in German and I would like to not display the automatically genereated abbreviations of the diagram type (e.g. uc) right before the diagram name with Diagram.DiagramImg.

Another question: Is it possible to translate these abbreviations or the words for Element.Status (e.g. Proposed)?

Great, changing workspace layout made the menu bar re-appear!

Somehow I must have hidden all my menu options which are usually displayed at the top (File, Edit, View, Diagram, ... missing). What can I do to display them again?

General Board / Beginner's question: Link to diagram
« on: July 07, 2011, 09:13:10 pm »
Hello,

This is probably a simple-to-answer question: In the example project there is a “Getting started” diagram named “Using the example model”. It contains packages like “Software Engineering”, “SOA and XML Engineering”. If I click on one of the package I am redirected to another diagram. Very cool feature. But how can I achieve the same in my own project? I did not find the option how I can link or associate one element to a diagram which opens if you click on that element. I tried out several options but none had the desired outcome, the clickable linkage.

Can someone tell me how to do this in the Corporate Edition?
