How does EA detect on which OS it is running? I'm definitely not running on WINE. I would like to have the normal Windows behavior.

Since the last few days I experience weird behavior of the help function:

• Clicking Help | Help Contents of hitting F1 opens a web browser within EA displaying http://www.sparxsystems.com/uml_tool_guide/index.html
• Hovering a item somewhere in EA, diagram, menu or project browser etc show a weird popup:
  

I've already reinstalled EA but is doesn't work, could you please help me with this?
