EA (build 1427) reports this General network error number of times daily. We moved the EA repository from the network onto my laptop (using SSMS v17.8.1) to eliminate it, but the issuess continue. No other applications or systems are indicating any network issues.
Could anyone have a suggestions how to resolve it?

Would like to see and select BPMN elements (pool, lane,...) in the Type dropdown list. Any suggestion on how to get/have BPMN elements on the list please

Thanks guys. I tried the recommended options and it does change appearance, however being aware that it affects other diagrams I reverted back to initial element appearance.

I need to change the appearance of some of the Win32 UI elements but after trying known options (F4, Set Font ,..) the element appearance stays unchanged.
Could someone help please

It would be great if EA would enable a low code development like iBPMS tools.

I am the only EA user here and the pool "lock" was probably caused by the network errors/disrupted connection to EA repository on SQL Server.
The Lock icon is displayed on the menu if R-Click over the element is used on the diagram, but not if R-Click is used on the the element in Project browser

Thanks Nizam, it has resolved this problem.
Note that Right click on the pool (element) in the Project browser doesn't give you the "Lock" function, but it does if you click on it in the diagram

General Board / BPMN Pool Properties are grayed out
« on: March 22, 2018, 11:48:49 am »
In a Collaboration model there is a BPMN Pool which properties can't be saved as the "OK" and "Apply" buttons are grayed out. In the browser there is "!" sign preceding the pool.
Tried to restart the EA 13.5 but the problem is still there. During the day there were network errors disrupting connection to SQL Server which may cause this.
Any suggestion how to rectify this problem

Thanks Geert, this has helped as holding ALT Key allowed extension of the Pool over new elements

I use EA 13.5
The pool is selectable and the diagram is editable (I mean the diagram can be modified), also I played with different Z Order options for the pool, but no success.

Currently I manage it by selecting, copying and moving required elements into newly created pool, which needs to be of sufficient size to nest/accept all these elements.
Basically, I can move/paste elements into Pool but can't enlarge the pool over elements if/when they are placed outside the pool.

General Board / Issue with BPMN Pool and elements
« on: March 21, 2018, 08:43:36 am »
I need to modify an exiting BPMN diagram containing pools and elements. There is a need to resize an existing Pool to include and nest some of  the elements (activities, gateways,...).  The EA doesn't allow Pool resizing over existing diagram elements. Tried to change the Pool properties but no desirable result

BPMN diagram was documented as HTML report . If I click on activities (with composite diagrams nested) some will properly display the nested diagram but some will display its Pool properties. Could you please help me to view the nested diagrams only.

Thanks guys for your help. Now I know that my problem was caused by me trying to R-click on the small square which become visible when the connector was selected (instead close to it).

I tried it on all available connectors for UI element to Table (Inf Flow, Trace, Dependency, Realization)

hmmm,  ... I'm somewhat embarrassed but have to ask for help again. Why the "Link to Element Feature" option is not on the menu when I right-click on the end of connector/relationship? It was there when I tried initially but not now! Is there anything to do with the new Diagram or connectors properties?
