General Board / Invalid Target for Sequence Flow

Hello,

I'm on version 15.1.  While using BPMN 2 to create a workflow I get the error "Invalid Target for Sequence Flow" when I try to connect an outcome of a gateway to a message using the Sequence Flow connector.  It works fine for the other leg (EndEvent).   I can only connect the two using the Association connector.  Is there a guide that explains when to use Sequence Flow and when Association connectors?

Sorry to bother, but don't know what I did and the lane name (in horizontal format) moved from left most to top center.  How do I bring it back to the left?

Hello Paolo,

Thank you for responding and clarification of behavior.  I am new at EA and do not understand your resolution. 
Where do I select the object (and which one from my example, A or B)?  In the Browser? 

Then, I'm totally lost with your description of what comes next (<context many> | New Child Diagram > [  ] Composite   (unmark the checkmark)and this should unlink the diagram).  Can you, please, be more descriptive?

Thanks for answering.  I mentioned, I am at EA 15.1 using BPMN 2.  Here's the scenario: I have two independent Business Processes (workflows), A and B.  They are on the same level, unrelated to begin with.  Inside one of the workflows, I add a Business Process symbol.  The symbol has in the lower right corner a "glasses" icon.  When double clicked, the Business Process symbol allows for linkage to another workflow (from a list), therefore becoming parent to the child workflow.  This way, I can link the parent workflow (A) to child workflow (B).  All is well.  Down the road I want to remove this link between A and B, so that when I double click into Business Process symbol from workflow A, it won't open the Business Process B.
My question is how do I do that?  I don't see the two processes linked in any way in the Browser, to drag one out.  There isn't an option to unlink if I double click, because once this link is made and you double click, it automatically opens the child process (workflow).

Hope I was clear this time.

In my browser there is no "inner" and "outer".  All processes/workflows are at the same level.  I'm using BPMN 2 with EA version 15.1.

I see the document option on the right side of the screen, with a document name in it.  After I select it (it's blank) I don't see a hamburger menu that offers me the option to delete.

General Board / Creating Report for a single workflow

Hello,

I'm on Version 15.1 and trying to produce a "complete" report (diagram and all comments, etc.) for only the Business Process workflow I choose.  It's important to mention that this workflow has also 2 additional levels (children).  I tried all the standard reports available but none give me what I want.  Is it possible to just create a report for a single process with all the details and for all of its dependents?

I understand what you are saying, however I cannot find this attachment.  When I click the kbd combination, a blank page comes up. Don't know how to invoke the context menu . . .

Hello,

I see into my existing system, sometimes, a red letter ("A")  in the Business Process icon, to the left of the "glasses" sign.  Does anyone know what that means and how it got there/what does it do?  See attachment for an example.

I am not sure if my attachment is there.  I dragged it into the message but I don't see it.  How do I attach a file?

Looked all over for hidden screen(s), even minimized everything so they would stand out.  No hidden screens . . .
