Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / MDG Office Integration and Microsoft Attack surface reduction (ASR)

Hi,

A question from an enterprise organization.

We use Enterprise Architect, and we would like to test MDG Office Integration. But after installtion this is blocked by Microsoft ASR: Block Office applications from creating executable content

Our It-security department will not disable this security feature. Is there a way to solve this?

General Board / Recent File List

Hi,

When we deploy version 14.1 to our end-users we have set the connection-sting in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sparx Systems\EA400\EA\Recent File List.

Now i'm trying to deploy version 15.2 and it won't use that registry value. If i open 15.2 with a pre-populated key-value fron version 14.1 it won't show under "Recent".

If i creates a cloud connection i can see in the registry that the key Recent File List is created, but no value. When i close EA the registry key is deleted. I open EA 15.2 and i can still see my connection in "Recent".


Any idea how i can populate this so our end-users won't need a guide how to create a cloud connection?
