General Board / Relationship matrix / View settings
« on: May 16, 2006, 05:15:30 am »
Hello,

First of all: This matrix is a great view to work with!

I would appreciate an option to view more than one or even all kinds of link types in the matrix. Instead of the cross the matrix may display the name of the link type (or an appropriate abbrev).

Currently I have to switch between the link types which can be very annoying.

Kind regards,
Olli

General Board / Create a new language by copying an existing one?
« on: January 11, 2006, 03:09:56 am »
Hello,

in my project I like to create code templates for C. For sanity reasons I prefer to have an own template set.

EA has the option to define new languages, but up to now I didn't find a way to copy an existing one and modify it afterwards.

Also the way to export an existing template set and reimport it afterwards does not to work, since templates from existing languages cannot be exported (or I didn't find out how :-().

Is there a way to create a new language by copy an existing template set?

Thanks for your suggestions

Kind regards,
Olli

Sorry, it seems that I missed some important details. :-(

I like to fetch RTF data from an word document and pass it to EA via the COM-Automation interface.

I found no attribute or operation where I can put my RTF data into an EA model element.

Kind regards,
Olli

Hello,

I try to import requirements from a word doc into EA and would like to pass some items (pics, tables, etc.)  to the linked document of an element.

Up to now I didn't found a way to achieve this. Neither the code samples nor the help give a clue about this. ???

How can this be accomplished?

Thanks for suggestions

Kind regards,
Oliver
