I wanted to trace the dependency of some data elements where one could select an object and visually see the source of that object.
This could be acheived by adding to the "Context filtering" to where it would trace relationships greater than one degree of seperation.
For example, if Buick belongs to Cars, and Cars belongs to Transportation, one could click on Buick, and Cars would be highlighted, as well as Transportation.

Else, a visualizer like Archie, that lets you interactively explore the relationships between objects could accomplish this as well.

I'm noticing that my larger EMF files (>5mb) are not showing up.
Is there a limitation to the file size of metafiles?

Well thanks to your tip, I found a workaround by converting my PNGs to EMF using Visio.  It's a pain, but I'm not dead in the water!

Still would be cool if Context filtering supported bitmaps...

When you make an object have an alternate image, applying the context filter does not grey out these images.

This works counter to how a user would expect, where all diagram objects that are unrelated to the selected object should be greyed out.

This makes it difficult when you use images in your diagram, because there is no visual indication that the images are unrelated.
