Sounds promising!  
Would I be able to create transparent images this way? Transparent png's do'nt seem to work in EA at the moment.

Is there a way to make a panel transparent on a screen in a UI diagram?
I tried importing transparent png's, but that did not work. The color selection does not show an option for transparency.

True, but they all conclude that it is not fully possible because 'attributes and operations aren't objects (elements) in EA speak' (quoted from an EA guru).

I was just wandering if anything changed or is expected to change in coming releases (I am trying to find arguments to ask my boss to upgrade from 4.5

I am trying to link an operation on a component interface (component diagram) to an activity (step), but can't get beyond component.
Is there a way to link an operation to an activity?
