Yes what I have done was extend the activity so it crosses over into both lanes, but I just wasnt sure whether that was 'legal' in BPMN 2.0 notation...

Hi guys

I was wondering how to represent the following scenario in a BPMN diagram:

Two participants (i.e. two lanes) both perform the same activity at the same time. For example, two participants have a meeting together in order to make a decision.

Can you have the activity sitting across the two lanes? Or should you use a parallel gateway merging into two of the same activities in each lane?
