Hi again
Is it not wonderful what a bit of interaction does. Following input from David, I revisisted the error message in regard to system objects.
The solution to my problem is to UNCHECK Include System Objects; I mean why would we want those out of Access anyway.
So basically, and from Access 2000, use Tools, Options, to select Use of JET 4.0 so that the MDB file can be read; then exclude System Objects and voila. Thanks for the input, David
