We give our model as an HTML report to our customer. They have recently upgraded to IE 11 (before IE 8 or 9). Now, they cannot open the HTML report anymore.
I could reproduce their problem with IE 11. When one tries to open the model the following message is shown:
"Error. Access denied."

It might be that there are certain default internet options of IE 11 which pose a problem. But which are these?

IE 11 is set for the whole company of the customer. They cannot go back to a former version.

We work with an EA project in a database. There we regularly create baselines for the overall model and compare them. The comparison takes rather long but it works.

We intend to branch the model and for that I experiment with transferring the EA project to an .eap file and creating, comparing / restoring baselines there.

To my astonishment :-? for even the simplest difference between 2 baselines (1 UC added) comparing or restoring always ends with the message "Query to complex".

I have done the transfer from database to .eap file in 2 ways: via Project transfer and via export to xmi and import of that xmi to an .eap file. It doesn't work either way.

The .eap file after Project transfer is about 290 MB big. The .eap file after export / import of xmi about 50 MB. This difference puzzles me, too.

By the way, Auditing is not enabled in the database version of our model.

Do I do something wrong? Is Baseline compare / restore for such big (is that really big?) models only possible within a database? Why are the file sizes so different depending on what way the transfer is done?

I hope for a simple solution. Thank you in advance.

In our project we regularly create HTML reports from our EA model to give it to the customer to browse. In our EA model "<" ">" is very often used as a pair e.g. for "dynamic" content of labels or in the description of method parameters.

Unfortunately, EA transfers these unmodified to the HTML report with the effect that the part inside < > is not shown and the brackets themselves not, too.

We expected that such characters would be transformed to html entities when the EA model is transferred to the HTML report.

In the EA help I did not find any instructions on how to handle this.

Bugs and Issues / Notes / Diagram properties in "Find in project"

It seems to be that with "Find in project" with Search Simple or Extended it is not possible to find Diagrams. Neither the diagram itself nor diagram property notes nor notes.
E.g. if I have the diagram named "AC-001" and my search term is "AC-001" then the diagram is not found.

Is that new? I seem to remember it worked formerly (1-2 years back with Version 8, now I have version 10 of EA).

is there any simple solution for this?
