Suggestions and Requests / Download Problems
« on: April 09, 2006, 12:17:22 pm »
:oHello, I would like to see an FTP site option enabled for registered users to download the latest build.  I have had numerous problems downloading the latest build using the save as option from the browser interface.  Virus scan is disabled, as is Windows Firewall.

Thanks.

Hello  :P  I would like to see the ability to add attachments to support requests on the registered users support web page.  I usually take screen prints that could be very useful for troubleshooting the problem(s) that I am reporting, but am unable to attach them :(

Hello, I would like to see an enhancement made to the Project View regarding the ability to right click on a table in the Data Model Diagram to delete the table.  Also, I would like the ability to select multiple tables in Project View and delete them all in a single operation.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, I would like to see EA ported to a 64-bit OS.  Does anyone know if there are any plans to do this?

Thanks!

Thanks to you both.  It is a minor thing and restricted to the on-line help I believe.

Hello, I was wondering if Sparx has any plans to offer localized versions of EA?  I am specifically looking for an American English version.

Thanks.

Hello, I am trying to set the default paper size to Letter versus the default of A4.  I have used the File, Print Setup options and selected my printer and letter as the paper size.  Yet, when I generate an .RTF document, the Word document is saved with A4 as the paper size.  I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Hello, I recreated your simple example and it worked fine for me.  I took the text of your classes from your post and created the .as files in the directories you specified underneath a directory called "Flash Projects" on my C drive.  The class diagram named "srv" shows the generalization as you would expect.  I hope this helps you out as the product seems to work as I would expect it to.

Take care,

Tim

You may want to try something simpler.  Here is what I did just to test out whether or not I could even reverse engineer actionscript files:

Create a new project

Expand Logical View folder under Views

Right mouse click on Logical Model folder and repeat steps you did in previous attempts as you have described in your reply to me.   This should at least organize all of your packages underneath one folder in EA.

Are you sure these are ActionScript 2.0 files?  Could they be ActionScript 1.0 instead?

Regards,

Tim

Hello, can you be a little more specific as to the exact error message(s) you are getting?  I have Flash 8 Professional installed and have successfully reverse engineered several ActionScript 2.0 classes.  Are you using the latest version of EA?

Best regards,

Tim
