Bugs and Issues / Erroneous resize behaviour
« on: September 27, 2017, 08:46:54 pm »
Resizing elements in the diagram editor works in trange and mysteroius ways.

When using mouse to resize elements that reside at the bottom of a diagram - across the page separator - the shape is either moved or expanded in both directions (in mouse direction and opposite).

This looks like a bug to me. Anyone experiencing the same behaviour?

Enterprise Architect version 13.5.1351

It's just a minor detail:
In the pop up menu associated with GUI elements in Custom Diagrams, "Choose Associated Image" appears twice....

« on: May 06, 2002, 01:58:40 am »
Hi!
How can I define module scope operations (i.e. no scope definition included in the operation signature) in EA?

Thanks,
Carl-Olav

General Board / Bug:Extra save-warning
« on: May 06, 2002, 01:50:16 am »
When closing an object detail dialog (for instance the Use Case dialog) after saving a responsibility using ALT-S, EA prompts you with a "You have unsaved 'Responibility' information"-warning (selecting "Yes to save changes" results in a new, empty responsibility.....).
This does not occur when using the mouse to save responsibilities...

General Board / Operation signatures

Is there a way to generate operation signatures from the interfaces a class realizes?

Regards.

Bugs and Issues / Mind Map chg does not chg appearance correctly
« on: August 15, 2008, 09:22:41 pm »
Hi,
I have used the EA Mind Map functionality for documenting in ea creative process.  There are a couple of things that irritate when using it:
1: The Topic elements are based on class model objects.  Thus, when entering titles that include sapces or other non-source code characters you are met with a warning when clicking ok from the poroperties dialog of the topic

2: I suppose a common action when using Mind Maps is to change the stereotype from one topic type to another (e.g. from Topic to Sub-topic).  Doing that does not alter the appearance of the element correspondingly (e.g. changing from "Topic" to "MainTopic" makes an element appear visually as a Sub-Topic)

(Observed this in the most recent build as well --> 7.1 832)

Carl-Olav Løvald
(In my 8th year as EA user - still amazed by the power of the tool...  :))
