Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Legend not showing colors in Document Generation

Hello,
I have a diagram that has multiple colored connectors, which I've added a Legend to so as to make sense of the colors. Everything's fine until I try to generate documentation -- the colors show up in the diagram, but not in the legend. The legend shows up as an "off gray", with the lines all (the same) gray in color.
I have tried generating the RTF "normally", and "diagram only" using two different types of graphics (GIF and WMV). I also tried making a new template, but couldn't find anything in there that looked relevant to the problem at hand. I also asked our local "EA Guru", but he hasn't seen this either.
Any ideas?
(For the record I'm using EA 7.5 build 850, Corporate Edition)
