I just remembered that I had the trial version still on my system and a couple of weeks ago I uninstalled that.  I just did a "repair" of the installation and the error message went away.

Okay, I just today had a message come up on EA about the DAO library.  To my knowledge there is nothing that has changed since the last time I ran EA, but there could have been some update to the DAO package that was part of a MS patch.  BTW, on XP SP2, the latest version of MDAC is 2.8 and when I attempted to install the latest I was informed that it was already on my machine.  I also ran a version checker and this seemed to be fine.  I'm not sure if re-registering the dll that was mentioned will do anything; it did nothing on my system so far.  

So, any other ideas besides re-installing EA?
