Actually, what would be valuable (from my perspective) is that when features (i.e. notes) are set to display, that the width of the element remain the same, and only the length (# of rows) increase to accomodate the display of the text. And when the display of the feature is unchecked, that only the height of the box descrease.

I notice that elements increase in size when check boxes such as Notes are checked on in a diagram's options, but that they don't descrease in size when a the notes (and other options) are unchecked.

Please make this consistent. Either do not increase the box sizes at all, or if the boxes are increased in size when an option is selected. have them decrease in size when the option is deselected.

I notice that when setting the Notes Checkbox on a diagram the Notes for Objects display but the notes for Activity Elements do not.

Is there a reason for this difference. If not, please have the notes for activities (and any other elements) display when this feature is checked on in a diagram.

Agreed! Properly crossed lines would be less confusing. This feature is automatic in drawing tools such as Visio.
