General Board / Document Generation

Hi All,

I am wondering if anybody has tried the Document Generator of EA. I want to use it for a particular purpose and it would be great if somebody could suggest a way out.

I created a simple use case diagram and added a document element to it. (Available from the Common elements on the left panel). This document has just one para of information in there.

Now when I generate documentation for this use-case diagram, ( I check the include linked documents, include child elements, tagged-values, etc.) but I do not see the contents of the Document [\b] in the EA generated RTF document. It only shows that there exists a document element and its relation with the use-case.

Has anybody tried this before? Any thoughts?

Hi all,

I am looking for some information (other than what is in the Help) on how to integrate/associate the requirements form DOORS to elemets in EA.

Also looking for some information on how to use Clearcase as Version control tool? I do not see a list of SCC providers when I try to use it.

It will be great if somebody who has already worked with these could provide some useful hints...

Hi,
I am new to EA and was trying to install it from the website.
But, It showed me an error 80070005, I do not know what it stands for!

Can anybody tell me what I could be doing wrong and how to fix the problem!

The Recent Project list on the Start page does not reflect if any project is deleted/Renamed from the Windows File System.
So, when the user clicks on it the next time, an error message is displayed.
It would be nice, if the project list displays the valid projects.

Bugs and Issues / Message Box for RTF documentation

The message box that is displayed after RTF documentation is generated,
has a WARNING symbol on it implying that something went wrong.
I want to make sure that this is a bug and not intentional.
It makes the user feel that an error occurred during the document generation.
