Suggestions and Requests / Bug Submission feature requests
« on: January 06, 2005, 05:38:42 am »
Hello,

Recently, I have been using your registered users bug request feature and have a few suggestions.

1. When automatically notifying a user via email that you have received their bug, please include a copy of the bug report in the email.

2. Create some sort of tracking number system that appends a tracking number to the email. This would help because I wanted to write that certain bugs were resolved but didn't know how to specify which bug I had resolved.

Thanks and I hope that this helps.

General Board / Microsoft OLE DB Provider SQL Server [-2147217900]
« on: January 03, 2005, 11:06:35 am »
Hello All,

I am attempting to synchronize my model with my code, however, I keep receiving the following error:

------------
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server [-2147217900]
Incorrect Syntax near ','
------------

My environment:
Visual Studio.Net 2003
EA 4.5 Build 742
MDG Link for Visual Studio.Net
Windows XP SP1
IIS
1 GB RAM
Sql Server Repository
EA Project in Sourcesafe (checked out during synchronization)
Visual Studio Project in Sourcesafe (checked out during synchronization)
Synchronization set to "reverse"

Any and all help is appreciated as I currently can not synchronize my code changes back to my model.

General Board / Re: Automatic Generation of Class Diagrams
« on: December 08, 2004, 05:09:44 pm »
Thanks Ben,

That is what I wanted to know. Although, it seems that if I am able to import source code and generate a diagram for each namespace then that same functionality should be available to designs that are generated within EA.

General Board / Automatic Generation of Class Diagrams
« on: December 08, 2004, 08:09:27 am »
Hello All,

I have searched the forum and found discussions on automating the generation of sequence diagrams but could not find a similar discussion on class diagrams.

What I am trying to figure out is how to automatically generate a class diagram for a particular namespace/package.  My design is completely new and therefore reverse engineering/importing the code is not an option for me.

So, how do I generate namespace/package diagrams in a new model?

Thanks and all help is appreciated.
