Does anybodey know if and how it is possible to change the color of notes displayed in a diagram (i.e. the notes of a class). The standard color is so "soft" that it is most often not readable.

Hi,
Please try another one
--------------------

• Open the file that contains the information you want to create a linked object or embedded object from, and then select the information.
  

• Click Copy .
  

• Switch to the Microsoft Word document, and then click where you want the information to appear.
  

• On the Edit menu, click Paste Special.
  

• check the box: paste link
  

• select: Formatted text (RTF)
  

The RTF content should now be inserted

• right mouse click in what you just inserted and select
  linked document object / Links...
  

• In the popping up dialog select "Preserve formatting after update"
  

OK

Hi, maybe the following is what you need ?

• Create a .doc file
  Menu: insert/object
  create from file
  select your exported .rtf file
  check "link to file"
  

Now you can format your inserted content
the format will be kept when you synchronize with an updated .rtf file.

I am using this together with complex company templates, and it works.

The DateTime type is also not functioning when used in a stereotype Profile. But this is functioning when just creating a new Tagged value via Settings/UML/TaggedValueTypes dialog.

That's what I already did, but nevertheless I get some strande behavior. If I only added _makeComposite it works fine creating a diagram, but its a composite diagram. If I additionally add the _defaultDiagramType, no diagram is created any longer. Only the composite flag in the created element is set. ?

Hi,
I am trying to use the Metatype Attribute _defaultDiagramType
with the Type = String
and the initial Value = Logical

its not working what ever I try.

Has someone experience in using these Attributes in a Profile and can give me a hint ?

Additionally what is with the maintenance of the resulting model. If a profile is updated I can apply the changes to the whole model, and when using a pattern ? Is it still maintainable ?

I am creating a profile using attributes in the stereotype. These attributes are showing up as tagged values when I create an element based on the stereotype.

Is there a possibility to create element attributes (not tagged values) with the help of profiles ?

I hope its understandible what I want .

Hello all,

is anyone aware how to refresh a model after a profile update ?
i.e. added a tagged value to one of the profile stereotypes.
The tagged value is included in a newly created element of the model, but all previously created elements of that stereotype do not reflect the change.

Any clou ?
