Bugs and Issues / Subversion checkout not working

svn client 1.9.1
I have a subversion repository with which I can do an add, update, commit, lock and unlock with the svn client. I configure EA to use the right path an add a package to it. This works. The package get checked in and I see a locked package in EA. When I try to checkou that package I get the error that the package is "Not controlled". I tried "Get latetst" and "resync" but this has no effect.
If I use the subversion client 1.8.8 then I can do a checkout. If there something changed in the client that EA cannot handle? Is there a solution?
