Importing HTML Code for reverse Engineering
« on: June 20, 2002, 12:49:45 pm »
OK, I had a nice long message composed, hit the esc key by mistake and now I'm doing it again ???

Went through the steps to reverse engineer java code and got the packages, diagrams and source code imported just fine.  I did the same only changed the type to HTML from JAVA in the dialog box and I saw all the file names quickly scroll by just like the java files, the Packages were created and diagram pages but the diagram pages were blank - they had no class diagrams.  Course with no components on the diagrams, I couldn't select View Source Code.

Did I miss a step or is there a problem with importing HTML (and JSP) code to create diagrams?

Hello,

The HTML option that you have found should not be shown in the list.  We were actually using for testing purposes (we are planning to release this in the future), therefore if you select HTML it will not import anything, thats why you are getting blank daigrams created.  Sorry for the confusion.  We will remove the option until the feature is fully released.
