Audit View
« on: January 28, 2013, 11:52:43 am »
Kindly let me know how to access the Audit View?
(My EA edition is pro, and Program Ver. is 10.0.1004.)
According to "EA user Guide" launched via Help, we could find it under the "project" on menu bar. However "audit view" is not appered on my EA. :'(

I'm not sure about the License model but it is in fact in "Project" -> "Auditing" (One of the last choices)

Anyway, Thanks Greet, and Sethor de Faye  ;)

How is the Audit View function?
I suppose it is useful for change management.

Well, it depends. I only used it as a safeguard in order to trace back deletions or the like. You can't use it to trace manipulations live (like you would see it f.e. in Time Machine on the Mac). The number of entries is simply too large.

Thank you for your easy to understand explanation. :D
I'm now under doing benchmark which CASE tool / edition is suitable for our project.

I was interested in the case of manage the change requirements, tracking them, and diff function.

But now, I suppose we may seldom use the Audi View.

Best Regards,
Wally
