« on: February 15, 2007, 05:30:01 am »
hello,
I have made a use case diagram and this compound for many cases of use. I want to make, another diagram when alone i can see the relationships of an only case of use. As I can make it?

Hopefully I understood you right: Place the UC in a new diagram. Right click the UC. Choose Add / Insert Related Elements from the context menu (this works for all elements, not only UC). Now you can create a diagram that shows all relations to your UC.

Very handy, but MAN that is an ugly job of laying out the elements?!!
Time is what keeps everything from happening at once, Space is what keeps it all from happening to you. <unknown>

This is documented. The entry for Layout a Diagram in the help, as well as the user guide, contains the note:
Quote
Dynamic and analysis diagrams are NOT suited to this form of layout - please ensure first that the diagram type you are laying out will benefit from the action.

Sadly neither the documentation nor EA itself provide any help in this area.

This lack has been with us for a long time.

Sigh...
No, you can't have it!
