HTML generation  = RTF generation
« on: October 23, 2010, 02:55:12 am »
A couple of ideas to bring the HTML generation in line with RTF generator.

Can it have an Abort button - the number of times I start and realise Glossary is not ticked...
Alternatively make Glossary ticked by default...

Can the HTML generation have an omit package option - in the same way RTF has?
For example I do not really want the viewers looking at my RTF master documents on the web site or other such model metadata.

Some features that have been implemented for EA 8.1
HTML can now be generated via Master/model documents.
HTML reports will obey the "Exclude Package from Documentation" flag.

Those enhancements are very welcome indeed,  however here's a more fundamental request.

1)  Can the optons selected on the HTML dialogue be made completely sticky ?    Some are some aren't at the moment.

2)  If 1) is too much hassle,  then can the dialogue panel at least be made more friendly?   For example,  if you set your generation options and then realise you want to change the output folder, then all your selections are lost when you come back from specifying the folder !

This "feature" has caused me to run the generation without the glossary etc.. too!
