ConnectionOpen: SQL Server does not exist ...
« on: February 05, 2020, 10:08:47 pm »
When opening the eap file the error box appears saying "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server [-2147467259]". It looks like the database was not released after it was closed last time and it is still locked. Can anybody tell how to unlock the database?

What happens if you connect directly to the database (instead of going through an .eap shortcut file)

Ask your local DBA. There's probably a way to restart that instance so its open for a new connection.
