MDG VS Integration 3.5, installation error 1722

Hi,

I'm updating from MDG VS Integration 3.0 to 3.5.
This (automatically) uninstalled MDG VS Integration 3.0 first, and then failed to install MDG VS Integration 3.5 with:

'Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor'

while 'Removing backup files', ie. in the last step of the installer run. After confirming the error pop-up, the installation is rolled back.

It still works to install/uninstall MDG VS Integration 3.0.
It does not help to reboot the computer.
I searched the registry for MDG, but didn't really find a lot for VS Integrate.

Hi Lars,

Can you try running the installer from the command line with the /log command line argument?

eg

Code: [Select]
C:\Path\To\Installer\VSIntegrate.exe /log C:\VSInstall.log
If you can send an email with the file C:\VSInstall.log attached to [email protected], we'll investigate further!
